Careers-in-Sync cc
The Institute incorporates a full-time agency for the recruitment and placement of Chartered Secretaries, company secretaries, accounting officers and other governance professionals. Careers-in-Sync is run by Institute Fellows Cathy Loupis and Shirley Braham, who are both Chartered Secretaries. The agency also assumes a marketing role, creating awareness of the Institute and CIS qualifications in the corporate world and with tertiary education institutions and schools.
Further Careers-in-Sync provides:
- Mentoring in the company secretarial field
- On-the-job training for Graduates of the Institute who require work experience
- Training courses for Company Secretaries in Africa
- A mentoring fund to facilitate skills development
Careers-in-Sync utilizes talent management software HRSmart to manage the Institute's appointments register.
